Do you love reading? Do you love book clubs or recommendation lists? Do you have an interest in archaeology? If you said “yes” to at least one of these questions, we’d love for you to check out our book blurb videos, which are part of our upcoming Data Story, Of Mycenaean Men: Public Archaeology Book Club!
The book we’re highlighting this week is Living in Data: A Citizen’s Guide to a Better Information Future by Jer Thorp. It explores how our world is filled with data in both traditional and less traditional senses. Published in 2021, it’s a great exploration of how people create data and how that data then impacts our lives.
Living in Data is the last book in our “What Are Data?” theme and if you haven’t checked out the other book blurb videos associated with this theme we encourage you to do so! More than that though, if you enjoy these videos, check in next week when we’ll be sharing the drafts for our Of Mycenaean Men: Public Archaeology Book Club Data Story. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the Data Literacy Program duo chatting about Living in Data. Happy Reading!
