This exercise is best suited to those with an interest in public archaeology, writing as practice, or using archaeological data as inspiration. Users should have a basic understanding of archaeological data types to understand what platforms to search, but little previous experience with archaeology is required.
Do you love making things? Do you love building good writing habits or exercising your painting skills based on a theme? And do you have an interest in archaeology? If you said “yes” to at least the first question, we’d love to have you test our Creative Series Data Stories!
Similar to other thematic months, like National Arts & Humanities Month, or artistic creative endeavors, such as the 100 Days project, NaNoWriMo is a limited-duration writing project. For archaeologists, we have ArchWriMo and this year the AAI will be posting inspirational prompts in celebration!
